THE HONEST CLEAN RENT/MORTGAGE SWEEPSTAKES

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT INCREASE AN ENTRANT’S CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

Participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes unconditional acceptance of these Rules and Sponsor’s decisions, which are final and binding.

1. Sponsor

The Sweepstakes is sponsored by The Honest Clean, Nashville, Tennessee (“Sponsor”).

2. Promotional Period

The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00:00 AM Central Time on 01/11/2026 and ends at 11:59:59 PM Central Time on 01/03/2026 (“Promotional Period”), unless modified, suspended, extended, or terminated by Sponsor as permitted herein.

3. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open only to natural persons who:

(a) are legal residents of the State of Tennessee;
(b) are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry; and
(c) meet all requirements herein.

Employees, contractors, officers, directors, agents, representatives, affiliates, and household or immediate family members of Sponsor are not eligible. The Sweepstakes is void outside Tennessee and where prohibited by law.

4. How to Enter

A. Paid Entry Method

Entrants will receive twenty (20) entries for each residential or short-term rental cleaning service booked, completed, and fully paid during the Promotional Period.

Entrants initiating a new recurring cleaning plan (bi-weekly or monthly) during the Promotional Period will receive ten (10) bonus entries, credited after the first cleaning under the plan is completed and paid.

Entrants will receive an additional five (5) bonus entries if they are following The Honest Clean’s instagram page: @thehonestclean

Canceled, refunded, or unpaid services are not eligible for entries.

B. No-Purchase Entry Method (Alternate Free Method)

To enter without making a purchase, handwrite your full legal name, mailing address, email address, telephone number, date of birth, and the phrase “The Honest Clean Rent/Mortgage Sweepstakes Entry” on a 3x5 card and mail it in a stamped envelope to:

Mail-in entries must be postmarked during the Promotional Period and received by [Receiving Deadline]. Limit one (1) mail-in entry per person for the entire Promotional Period. Illegible, incomplete, bulk, mechanically reproduced, or late entries will not be accepted.

C. General Entry Conditions

Sponsor is not responsible for lost, delayed, misdirected, damaged, mutilated, incomplete, or postage-due mail or entries, nor for technical, typographical, or communication errors of any kind.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will receive a Prize not to exceed $1,000 USD, intended to assist with rent or mortgage obligations (“Prize”).

5.1 Prize Fulfillment

Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, fulfill the Prize by:

(a) direct payment to winner’s landlord, property management company, or mortgage lender; or
(b) providing an equivalent cash prize directly to the winner.

If winner’s rent or mortgage for a single month is less than $1,000, Sponsor may only pay the lesser amount. Winner is solely responsible for using any cash Prize toward rent/mortgage obligations.

6. Winner Selection & Odds

One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period on or about [Drawing Date].

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Sponsor’s decisions regarding eligibility, drawing procedures, Prize allocation, and Rule interpretation are final and binding.

7. Prize Adjustment, Substitution & Commercial Impracticability

The advertised Prize represents a maximum potential value and is not guaranteed. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to:

  • reduce the Prize value,

  • substitute the Prize in whole or in part with a prize of equal or lesser value, or

  • otherwise modify the Prize structure

if Sponsor determines that fulfillment of the advertised Prize has become commercially impracticable or infeasible due to participation levels, financial or operational factors, legal or governmental constraints, or any other relevant circumstances.

Sponsor is under no obligation to disclose participation levels, financial metrics, internal thresholds, or criteria informing any such Prize modification. In all cases, Sponsor shall award at least a nominal substitute Prize.

8. Winner Notification & Verification

Winner will be notified by email, phone, or text message. If the potential winner fails to respond within 72 hours of notification, refuses the Prize, is deemed ineligible, or fails to comply with these Rules, winner forfeits the Prize and Sponsor may select an alternate winner.

Winner must provide, within seven (7) days of notification:

  • valid government-issued photo identification,

  • proof of Tennessee residency,

  • documentation verifying rent or mortgage obligation (lease, mortgage statement, landlord verification, etc.),

  • landlord/lender payment instructions (if applicable),

  • completed IRS Form W-9 (if required).

Failure to furnish required documentation within the specified time results in forfeiture.

9. Taxes

Prize may constitute taxable income. Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with acceptance or use of the Prize. If required by law, Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099-MISC and may require a completed Form W-9 prior to Prize award. Sponsor does not provide tax advice.

10. Publicity Release

Except where prohibited by law, participation constitutes permission for Sponsor to use entrant’s name, voice, likeness, city of residence, image, and statements for promotional, advertising, or publicity purposes in any media worldwide without additional compensation.

11. Privacy

Information collected from entrants may be used for Sweepstakes administration, marketing communications, winner verification, and compliance purposes, and will be handled consistent with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy.

12. Disqualification & Fraud

Sponsor may disqualify any entrant who:

  • tampers with or attempts to interfere with the operation of the Sweepstakes,

  • violates these Rules,

  • provides false or misleading information,

  • engages in fraud, abuse, or misconduct.

Suspected fraudulent activity may be referred to law enforcement authorities.

13. Limitation of Liability

Entrants agree to release, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sponsor and its officers, directors, agents, representatives, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, injuries, or causes of action arising out of:

  • participation in the Sweepstakes,

  • acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of the Prize,

  • landlord/lender disputes,

  • tax obligations,

  • technical or system errors,

  • mail delivery failures,

  • events outside Sponsor’s reasonable control.

Sponsor makes no warranty of any kind regarding the Prize.

14. Force Majeure

Sponsor is not liable for failure or delay due to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, war, civil unrest, labor shortages, supply chain issues, governmental actions, or other circumstances beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control.

15. Modification, Suspension & Termination

Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend, extend, or terminate the Sweepstakes or these Rules at any time for any reason. In the event of early termination, Sponsor may conduct a drawing from among eligible entries received to that point.

16. Governing Law; Arbitration; Class Action Waiver

All disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Disputes shall be resolved exclusively by binding arbitration in Davidson County, Tennessee under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

Entrants hereby waive the right to:

  • participate in class, collective, or representative actions,

  • pursue claims outside individual arbitration,

  • seek jury trial.

17. Winner List

To request the name of the winner, send a self-addressed stamped envelope within thirty (30) days of Drawing Date to:

18. Severability

If any provision of these Rules is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force.

19. Entire Agreement

These Rules constitute the entire understanding between Sponsor and entrant with respect to the Sweepstakes and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications.
